Kombinat Magnezit JSC is preparing for certification of quality management system
Pre-cerification audit of ecological management system and industrial safety management system took place at Kombinat Magnezit JSC (which makes part of Magnezit Group Ltd.)
The main aim of the pre-certification audit consists in check-up of readiness of Kombinat Magnezit management systems for certification for compliance to the requirements of international standards ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001: 1999. Continuous reduction of negative impact of the production activity on environment and improving of industrial safety are priority tasks of the strategic development of the plant.
Experts noted high organizational level of work aimed at lowering dust emissions and other negative influences on the environment, preventive measures aimed at lowering of sickness rate among employees and strengthening of their health as well as effectiveness of energy saving programs, production stocks storage, land reclamation and others.
In order to eliminate some minor non-conformities and critical remarks there is still enough time as certification of ecological management system and industrial safety system is envisaged for this autumn. Only a few Russian enterprises passed such a procedure.
